Oh, hi.

Well, I’m glad you stuck with me enough to find out more. Hi, I’m Sophie. In an effort to make this more efficient so I’m not rambling for twenty years, here’s some fun facts about me. Which, you may or may not notice influence a lot of my writing.

  1. Who is your hero? My dad.
  2. If you could live anywhere, where would it be? La Jolla, San Diego
  3. Who is your favorite band /artist? Thrice. Story of the Year is a close second. Ellie Goulding is also my girl.
  4. What would you change about yourself if you could? I would chop 2″ off my height. (Okay- maybe I would be more self-confident.)
  5. What really makes you angry? When people think their opinion is the only view on a topic.
  6. What motivates you to work hard? The possibility of one day writing being my only “job”.
  7. What is your proudest accomplishment? Getting my very first MS agented and published. I have zero writing background except a few college classes.
  8. What is your favorite book to read? LEFT DROWNING by Jessica Park. It just speaks to me on so many levels.
  9. What was the best vacation you’ve been on? Driving from San Diego to San Francisco up the coast of California in 2012.
  10. What is your most prized possession? My teddy bear I’ve had since I was a few months old. So many memories.
  11. What is your favorite sport? I can’t pick one. Spring/ Summer: Baseball (Yankees!), Fall/Winter: Football (Ravens!), I’m a nerd: SUMMER OLYMPICS. #jeah
  12. If you could hire someone to help you, would it be with cleaning, cooking, or yard work? A chef. Meal prepping sucks.
  13. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be? Sushi- tons of variety.
  14. Would you rather win the lottery or work at the perfect job? And why? Lottery. Bye, Felicia. Traveling would be my job.

  16. How would your friends describe you? Overly generous and kind.
  17. List two pet peeves. Bad grammar and sociopaths.
  18. If you were a super-hero, what powers would you have? Truth-o-meter and flying. Planes are expensive.
  19. What is something you taught yourself? I love beer. I work at a brewery part-time. I know more about the process than most people- I can talk shop.
  20. If you could go back in time to change one thing, what would it be? I’d be more outgoing. I was super shy growing up.
  21. If you could share a meal with any 4 individuals, living or dead, who would they be? My dad, my Mom-mom, Heath Ledger because I have so many questions, and I’ll get back to you on the 4th.
  22. What’s the tallest building you’ve been to the top in? Space Needle?
  23. What’s the most daring thing you’ve ever done? Went to Iceland on a whim. I also ate a “lamb and beef” hotdog from a vendor there. But I’m still skeptical.
  24. What kitchen appliance do you use every day? Nutrabullet. I love my protein shakes.
  25. What’s your favorite fast food chain? In-n-Out
  26. What is your favorite childhood memory? My New Year’s parties with my besties in Middle School.
  27. What’s your favorite movie? The Sandlot. I’m serious.
  28. What’s the most unusual thing you’ve ever eaten? See question 23.
  29. Do you collect anything? STARBUCKS MUGS! I also collect Pint Glasses from all the breweries I’ve been to, but I love my mugs more.
  30. Are you an introvert or an extrovert? Introvert.
  31. What do you do to keep fit? Crossfit! I can’t do a pull up and I’m scared of box jumps, but I get by.
  32. Who was your favorite teacher in school and why? Mrs. Mahevich. Senior year English teacher. She was super awesome and taught the dudes in my class about manners.
  33. What celebrity would you like to meet at Starbucks for a cup of coffee? Scott Eastwood. Because reasons.
  34. Who was your first crush? Celebrity? Taylor Hanson. WHHHHHAT.
  35. Who knows you the best? My biffle, Heather. <3
